Shahla Jahed’s latest message to the world from Evin prison! پيام امروز شهلا جاهد از زندان اوين
(NOTE: The following is a rough translation)
Shahla Jahed called me today from notorious Evin prison today. While Shahla thanked the worldwide efforts done to save her life, she said that she recieved her execution sentence and that she is expected to be hanged tomorrow.
I plea to the people of the world, to all parties and organization and to all governments that they use all their forces to stop Shahla’s execution. This is a critical moment.
It might be a little hope to save Shahla but we still could stop it. This is our duty. Shahla didn’t call to just say goodbye. Shahla’s last message is indeed a call to us, to do whatever in our power to save her life

دقايقي قبل شهلا جاهد از زندان اوين تلفني با من تماس گرفت و ضمن تشکر از تلاشهايي که تا کنون براي نجات او انجام گرفته است٬ گفت که حکم اجراي اعدامش را دريافت کرده است و قرار است فردا صبح به دار آويخته شود.
من از همه مردم جهان٬ از همه احزاب و سازمانها و از همه دولتها ميخواهم که در اين لحظات حساس با تمام قدرت و به هر شيوه اي که ميتوانند تلاش کنند تا جلوي اين جنايت را بگيريم.
اميد کمي براي نجات شهلا باقي مانده است اما هنوز ميتوان و ما موظفيم مانع اجراي اين حکم بشويم.
شهلا تنها براي خداحافظي زنگ نزد٬ اين آخرين پيام او٬ در واقع دعوتي از ما است تا تمام کوشش خود را براي نجات او بکار بگيريم.

Please STOP killing people! And stoning, and all the other barbaric things being done. Please save the life of others. How dreadful Shahla was killed! I cannot breathe for the sadness I feel today!!!! I pray for Sakineh’s life!!!!
As was expected and with great sadness, the execution has taken place this morning. Political oppression and flouting of human rights will always be the order of the day in Iran. My appeal at this point is not to the Iranian authorities, they happen to be a lost cause, but to our democratically elected governments to put more pressure on these rogue states on human rights. Weapons of mass destruction are a worry and, so they should. Economic relations are strengthened which are important for the prosperity of countries and their poeple. Little complaint is made though on individual sufferring of victims of torture and oppression. Little is said on the way in which minorities are treated in these rogue dictatorships.
to those who want to kill Shahla Jahed’s. The world of thinkers is judging you as evil killers. You have only a solution to this bloody behaviour: stop killing.

Men who wish to bring death to Shahla Jahed’s as retribution. Is this the way of the prophet who let GOD show him his wifes innocence thus he gave her mercy. Or the deeds of Ali and others of the Ummah. I beg ot thee to not kill Shahla Jahed’s that the way of forgivness as shown by Prophet Muhammad will still be done by the Iranian people.

What to say? Have mercy on her. Don’t you understand? It is wrong to kill her. Allah will punish if you do kill her. There will be great consequences for Iranian leaders. Why provoke Allah’s anger? Be wise and forgive!
You can stop this, you can stop this…it is sinful, shameful what you are doing to this woman…in the eyes of all law, all Human Rights, and God…There will be an International outcry if you go ahead with this execution, there will be more ramifications against Iran, more distrust, more disgust….Stop it, while you can, judges, Ayatollahs, and President Amadinajad….People pray for her, keep praying!
