Condemn stoning Last week 3 people were condemned to death by stoning in Iran and Nigeria. Zhila, a 14-year-old teenager who had sexual relation with her brother and gave birth to a child was sentenced to death by stoning in Iran. She lives in the city of Marivan. In Nigeria, 2 women, Hajar Ebrahimi and Daso Adamo, have been sentenced to death by stoning in the northern region of the country for having sexual relations outside marriage. The International Committee against Stoning strongly condemns stoning and protests especially against the execution of children in Iran. We have organised an international campaign to disclose such barbarity and crime against women and children and put an end to stoning.
