A woman is stoned to death
A gang of Islamic terrorists in Kerman-Iran
stoned a woman to death
Jamila Mir Ismaili, a young woman has been
kidnapped and stoned to death in a deserted area near the city of Kerman. Her
body was left half buried to be consumed by wild animals. A gang of Islamic terrorists also
responsible for killing three men and another woman around the same time are
the criminals behind this atrocity.
Early this year, under constant pressure in
Iran and all around the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran suspended stoning.
Following this drawback, groups and individuals, having the backing of the
government, have tried to carry out stoning in different areas. Although
stoning has been suspended, it has not been abolished and the criminals still
have a legal ground for their deeds. The government and its leaders are the
real criminals and have to answer for their crimes at a public trial.
Stoning is barbaric and must be abolished and
considered a crime. Those committing such crimes must be tried and punished.
The International Committee against Stoning
strongly condemns this horrific crime and the murder of four others in Kerman
and calls upon all progressive, human and women rights organisations to protest
against stoning and help us to stop this barbarism in the world.
